Ocean Safety Smart Release

Enables remote deployment from the bridge
Version
Description

The Jon Buoy Smart Release is an integrated system designed for seamless compatibility with the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Recovery Module, providing a reliable solution for man overboard situations.

This system enables remote deployment from the bridge or a convenient onboard location, ensuring a swift and controlled release of the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Recovery Module. Uniquely, the Jon Buoy Smart Release is able to fully integrate with the vessels compatible NMEA 2000 network allowing the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Recovery Module to be deployed automatically as part of the MOB process within the vessel’s electronics.

Utilising the NMEA 2000 network allows the Jon Buoy Mk 6 Recovery Module deployment to take place from multiple positions on the vessel, speeding up the time between alert and activation. By allowing immediate and remote response in critical situations, it enhances safety and efficiency on board.
