Ocean Safety Jon Buoy EVAC – compact life raft, specially designed for sailors on small boats in coastal areas

The Ocean Safety Jon Buoy EVAC can even be stored on small boats where there is no room for a conventional life raft.
The extremely small packaging in the bag is easy to stow away and can be quickly deployed in an emergency.
The system is therefore clearly aimed at coastal sailors on smaller yachts who are sailing in areas with good rescue infrastructure.

The raft can accommodate four to six people for a short period of time and consists of an inflatable tube ring. The canopy can be inflated separately with a hand pump. It offers protection from the sun, wind, and light rain, but does not inflate automatically as with full-fledged life rafts. This requires an additional step in an emergency, but saves weight and complexity when setting up the raft.
